Zil Hoque

Born in India 1962, lives and works in London.

Painter whose work has been influenced by his deep connection with the Spanish culture, its history and people.

The discovery of the great masters such as Goya and Velasquez in his formative years still remains a constant source of inspiration.

His skilful oil technique and mastery of light are strong features of his work.

Colours of his palette are reminiscent of the heat of the Andalucían landscape.
